Honda announced that at this year’s Chicago Auto Show they will bring to life the winning entry from Forza Motorsport’s Civic Design Contest. Created by Forza Motorsport gamer Tiffany Labedz, this custom Civic Si Coupe was selected out of nearly 170 entries.

It was sort of a popularity contest in which more than 17,000 members of the Forza Motorsport community picked this particular car as the winner. This Civic will be the first vehicle to feature a design from the Forza Community, and reflects the importance of video games in the auto industry these days. Games like Forza and Gran Turismo are having a big impact on car makers’ publicity efforts and changing them for the better.

Honda did not reveal if the Forza Civic Design Contest car will also be fitted with performance upgrades or not, but visually the car will definitely stand out, what with the two-tone paint job and the wild graphics that adorn the exterior.

Visitors to Honda’s booth at the 2014 Chicago Auto show will also get the opportunity to be among the first to race the 2014 Civic Si Coupe in Forza Motorsport 5 on Xbox One demo stations.
