Hatchback buyers, especially in Europe, are usually a trendy bunch who wants a lot of style for their money. That is why there are so many special and limited edition version of popular hatchbacks around. And here’s a new one, the Renault Clio Graphite edition, offering not only streetwise looks, but many extra features as well.

The limited edition Graphite treatment is actually available for both the Clio hatchback and its estate version, which is basically the same thing with an elongated rear-end. Visually, the Renault Clio Graphite Edition is distinguished by silver accenting on the grille and tailgate as well as silver moulding on the door, gloss black accents on the door mirror housings and rear skirt, extra-tinted windows, and grey diamond-effect 17-inch wheels.

Inside, you get sports grey touches to its steering wheel, gear lever surround and electric window switches, while the seats and door panels are upholstered in a black and grey patterned fabric. It seems like quite a nice place to be in, especially with all the equipment they’ve fitted to the car as standard.

The Renault Clio Graphite Edition is based on the Clio Zen, which means you get a lot of kit for your money. In addition to the normal luxury amenities, the Graphite comes with Renault’s in-dash R-Link multimedia tablet, complete with a three-month subscription to the live services, with a Discovery Pack providing access to e-mails, R-Link Tweet and Renault Assistance.

Clio Graphite can be had with all the engines in the range including Energy TCe 90 or TCe 120 EDC petrol engines, or with the dCi 75 or Energy dCi 90 90g diesel powerplants. Not that it matter to an average hatchback buyer, as they automatically go for the most fuel efficient unit on offer. They would be more interested in the choice of colors for the exterior, which includes Glacier White, Platine Grey, Cassiopée Grey, Flamme Red and Pearlescent Black.
