At the 2014 Detroit Motor Show two very important American cars made their debut. We are talking about the new Chrysler 200 and the Cadillac ATS Coupe. Yesterday we showed you a convertible version of the ATS, and so in the interest of fair play, here’s a drop-top version of the Chrysler 200!
Now, just because the old Chrysler 200 had a convertible variant, it doesn’t mean the new model is going to get one too. But if it does, it should look something look like this. It would be another fine four-seater convertible giving the German cars in this segment a good run for their money alongside that Cadillac we saw before. Too bad they are both imaginary cars.
Part from the roof arrangement and the fact that it will have two doors, the 2015 Chrysler 200 Convertible will inherit the rest of its features from the sedan, which is good thing. The new 200 has been praised by friend and foe for its interesting new design. It is not particularly pretty, but it has a ncie blend of retro and modern that make it nice to look at.
The engine lineup should also be the same, including a 2.4 liter Tigershark four-pot and a 3.5 Liter Pentastar V6.
