The unveiling of the new generation MINI at the Los Angeles Auto Show last year was the end of work for the design team. The car has a thousand different variations and all of them need to be updated with the modern design features of the new model. And while they are still years away from launch, the internet is going to wait that long.

Here’s the first speculative rendering of the new 2015 MINI Clubman, recently spotted doing some real world testing with heavy camouflage covering the important bits. Of course, due to the simple nature of MINI’s design, it doesn’t take much imagination to picture what the Clubman will look like.

You get an elongated version of the same body with four proper doors for passengers and two suicide kind of doors at the back. You also get larger headlights and new, bigger taillights. These units will almost certainly be identical to those of the standard MINI.
