Chevrolet has a long and mostly glorious history with Hollywood, having partnered with different studios to provide hero cars for many successful movies. The latest partnership is with the Marvel Studios, and the movie they are involved in is Captain America: The Winter Soldier.  

As for the hero car, while the Transformers franchise has to make do with Camaros and Sonics, S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Black Widow will be driving a specially-prepared black-on-black Corvette Stingray. The Widow and her Stingray will be making a guest appearance at the Chicago Auto show later this month, serving publicity duties for both the film and Chevrolet.

Black Widow’s Corvette Stingray is one of 15 Chevrolet cars and trucks displayed for the first time at the Chicago. Chevy is bringing at least one example from each segment as a showcase of the depth of their portfolio.

So alongside the Widow’s ‘Vette, you will be seeing at Chevy’s booth the Stingray convertible and two special Stingray coupes, the Corvette Z06 and C7.R, Camaro Z/28, Chevrolet SS high-performance sedan, Colorado Extended Cab, Silverado 1500 High Country, Silverado 3500 HD, Silverado 2500 HD, all-new Suburban and Tahoe, and the Sonic RS in the new Blue Topaz color.

At the Chicago Auto Show Chevrolet will be also unveil the all-new City Express commercial vehicle, but with an exciting lineup lie that nobody’s going to pay attention to a van.
