Jeep Renegade SRT Render 600x336 at Rendering: Jeep Renegade SRT

The new 2015 Jeep Renegade is a weird little thing. The car is small and efficient, yet surprisingly versatile and capable, at least in Trailhawk guise. It also looks very unusual. Some may find it catastrophically ugly, while others might see some charm in those puppy dog eyes.

Now to make things even more complicated, here’s a rendering of what the car might look like in SRT uniform. Not that Jeep is planning to give the Renegade a SRT treatment, of course, but still.

This virtual Jeep Renegade SRT uses the Grand Cherokee SRT as the inspiration, and gets an almost identical front bumper to the big car with a large intake and blacked-out grilles. The signature front-grille is also an SRT feature, all chromed-up and shiny. Some fender flares and larger wheels are also included.

If some day Chrysler decided to give Jeep Renegade SRT a go, it could get one of the many different variations of Abarth’s 1.4 liter turbocharged engine. A V6 Pentastar would be a bit too much for the Renegade’s size.
