A new version of the Chevrolet Trax compact crossover has been unveiled in New York ahead of its auto show debut. This is a tailored version of the European Trax for the American market, where it will go on sale early next year boasting feature like OnStar 4G LTE and Siri Eyes Free.
Despite being very tiny, the 2015 Chevrolet Trax is a practical family car with 48.4 cubic feet (1,371 liters) of cargo space. The American version comes in LS, LT and LTZ trim levels, each packing a whole host of technology and safety features.

Interior colors are Jet Black, Jet Black/Light Titanium and Jet Black/Brownstone. Inside the cabin you find the MyLink voice-activated infotainment system, 60/40-split fold-flat rear seat and fold-down front passenger seatback, and ten standard air bags, including side-curtain and knee air bags – and the segment’s only rear seat-mounted thorax air bags.
Power comes from Ecotec 1.4L turbocharged engine which can be hooked to an optional all-wheel-drive system. It makes 138 bhp and 148 lb-ft of torque, and is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
