Because of stuff like the fantastical Trion Nemesis, it is kinda hard to take small American sports car firms seriously. They come around, claim something, and a week it’s forgotten. That doesn’t seem to be the case with Rezvani Motors, though. The Orange County-based company sounds dead serious when they talk about a new super car called the Beast.

What makes us believe that Rezvani Beast is not another flight of fancy is the fact that they are not claiming anything extraordinary. The Beast is apparently a carbon fiber-bodied, track-focused sports car, designed to provide “impressive results” and “endless enjoyment” on any track.

Rezvani Beast is not just a track-bred monster. The car is also said to be capable of handling everyday, on-road use. Mind you, it does appear to be rather monstrous in terms of design, judging by the teaser picture, and it will have a six-speed manual gearbox. So it is fair to say it won’t be an ideal shopping car!

Rezvani Beast is set for official debut in the second half of 2014.
