This year’s Mille Miglia historic rally, as you may know from our rather comprehensive coverage, was a star-studded event. One of the most prominent of these stars was Jay Leno who race for Jaguar. He is now back home in L.A., which means he is ready to tell us all about it. This is one of those totally unmissable videos.

The car driven by Jay Leno in 2014 Mille Miglia was a 1951 Jaguar XK120 which he shared Jaguar’s chief designer Ian Callum.

Mille Miglia is a historic 1000 mile race from Brescia to Rome and back. Back in the day it really was a race on public roads, but after numerous fatal accidents it was turned into a time trial rally. Still, this being Italy, a lot of “racing” still happens between the participants. That was certainly one of the things Leno enjoyed most about the whole event.
