While BMW will be auctioning a special i8 for the benefit of the glamorous Pebble Beach Concours foundation, Dodge has something more noble on mind. They will be auctioning the first production Challneger Hellcat VIN0001 at Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas with all proceeds benefitting Opportunity Village, a non-profit organization that helps people with intellectual disabilities.

Features setting apart the first Dodge Challenger Hellcat apart, besides its super cool VIN number, include Viper-exclusive Stryker Red exterior color, premium Black Laguna leather interior, special Hellcat badging, specific VIN documentation and one-of-a-kind memorabilia with a VIN0001 electronic vehicle build book and video documentary, still shots, vehicle footage, an authentic Challenger SRT Hellcat embossed Laguna Leather iPad sleeve.

Dodge Challenger Hellcat is the fastest and most powerful production muscle car ever with a 6.2 liter supercharged HEMI V8 developing 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. The car has an NHRA-certified quarter-mile time of 10.8 seconds at 126 mph and benefits from high-performance components such as TorqueFlite 8-speed paddle shift automatic transmission with RPM matching downshifts, 15.4-inch Brembo front disc brakes with two-piece rotors and six-piston calipers.

Production Dodge Challenger Hellcat will start from just under $60,000, but rumor has it they are only making 1,200 copies of it.
