RAD (Rezvani Automotive Designs) wants to assure its customers that they are the real deal and not just an ambitious tuner who just likes to become an exotic brand. So they decided to show people how they go about crafting each new Rezvani Beast. It’s a complicated process.
Rezvani Beasty sports car is based on the British Ariel Atom, but the body is bespoke. In this video RAD showcases the process of making this body, which begins by unleashing a fearsome five-axis Gantry Milling Machine on a large brick of foam.
Don’t worry, the car is not made from foam. This foam model is used to mold the carbon fiber body panels, but only after it’s passed rigorous aerodynamic tests.
The first production Rezvani Beast is scheduled to hit the streets early December, 2014. You can order the Beast with either a 315 horsepower a 2.0 liter turbo engine, or a full-fat 500 horsepower 2.4-liter supercharged unit.
