This could well be the very first time the one-off Eagle Low Drag GT was spotted out and about on public roads, in the middle of London. Before this we’d only seen this car at motors shows, in press pictures, and test drive videos. It looks much cooler in the flesh.

Eagle Low Drag GT is made by the same people who created the immensely famous Eagle Speedster. What they do is take in normal E-Type coupe and convertible models and give them a proper, thorough makeover. They add their own design touches and caricaturize things a bit to create a custom, highly exotic car.

Eagle has famous, high-profile customers like Simon Cowell, mainly because the work they do is very costly. This Eagle Low Drag GT is a built to order project and costs nearly £700,000. Kind of Jealous of the work Eagle was doing, Jaguar recently announced they are having a go at resurrecting the E-Type themselves. They have priced their creation well over £1 million.

It is a magnificent sight having a timeless vintage car like this knocking about London among cabbies and other mortals!
