In spite al the hype Ford had created for the new Mondeo, the car launched in Europe without too much fuss and brouhaha, proving that the Mondeo, as always, is a dignified and brilliant car that doesn’t shout about its greatness. It just gets on with it!

Ford Mondeo has always been a great family sedan, offering decent value for money and one of the best drives in this segment. In the latest generation, Ford has added amazingly good looks to the list of the Mondeo’s virtues. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t any room for improvement.

Here we have the Ford Mondeo RS created virtually by rendering artist Theophilus Chin. He took the standard car and added – using Photoshop instead of spanners – a couple of RS bits and bobs to it. The car gets a magnificent new front spoiler, a pair of side skirts, and a neat rear diffuser with cutouts for four tailpipes. All these changes suit the Mondi really well.

We can’t help but imagine how awesome a production Ford Mondeo RS would be, powered by the 300 horsepower 2.3 liter EcoBoost four-banger out of the new Mustang!
