In the latest episode of his webshow, former racing driver Justin Bell, now an honorary host on Motor Trend’s YouTube channel, tries to answer a burning question: what is the world’s fastest sedan? And it’s the “raw speed” that he cares about.
Obviously, that makes for some interesting debate between petrolheads… right until the moment Justin sends the cars out to the test track for a top speed run. Then it all becomes about numbers:

The contenders for the title of the world’s fastest sedan in this little test include the BMW M5, Mercedes S63 AMG, Jaguar XJ-R, the old Cadillac CTS-V, Aston Martin Rapide S, and of course, the new Dodge Charger Hellcat. It’s a diverse group with V8s and V12s, as well as superchargers and turbochargers. And it’s a real-world test, not some heavily-planned program with specially-modified cars.
