It is said that hotties often roll in pairs. Not sure about that, but that is certainly true about the new hyper cars. Time and again we see them going out for a drive together, which is pretty fantastic. What don’t see often is a pair of hyper cars in the same color, like this Porsche 918 and McLaren P1.

This dynamic duo were spotted in Houston, Texas, taking part in a Cars & Coffee sort of event before hitting the highway:

Besides the color, the Porsche 918 and McLaren P1 in this footage have other similarities as well. They are both hybrids with the ability to drive silently and peacefully in full electric mode. That is until you get bored and decide to unleash the power of their big V8 motors, making a lot of noise. And speed.
