The all-new 2016 Mazda MX-5 is yet to be launched in the market, but already the Japanese car maker is thinking about the accessories and customization options for it. That’s what customers want these days, even when they are buying a tiny sports roadster.

The manufacturer is going to address this issue in a satisfactory manner on the evidence of the Mazda MX-5 Accessories Concept they will soon be unveiling at the Chicago Auto Show. It is a tricked-out version of the new Miata boasting a number of extras which will later on make it into the car’s personalization catalog.

Based on what we can see in the Mazda MX-5 Accessories teaser picture, you can expect to get styling goodies such as gloss black or carbon look aero kit consisting of rear diffuser, boot lid wing, and, presumably, front spoiler. There is also dual chrome tailpipes, large BBS alloy wheels in gloss black, and also blacked-out roll-hoops. That’s what we can distinguish in the picture. Rest assure, there will lots more besides, including hopefully interior mods as well as performance upgrades.

Also at Chicago Mazda will be showing MX-5 merchandise design concepts from Mazda’s upcoming Heritage Collection — three apparel collections inspired by key themes of Mazda’s past, present and future.
