The Peugeot 208 is still too young to be replaced by a brand-new 209. But enough wrinkles have appeared on its forehead to warrant a mild facelift. And that’s exactly what it has got for this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
The thorough styling upgrade of Peugeot 208 Facelift brings about a more aggressive look, fresh exterior colour choices and an exciting range of personalisation options. Some of the highlights of the exterior include two-tone headlamps, LED lighting, black and chrome detailing, sportier bumpers, chrome door mirrors, and exclusive new 16 and 17-inch wheel options.
The interior design of the Peugeot 208 Facelift remains intact, meaning you still get the lovely iCockpit consisting of a compact steering wheel, head-up instrumentation panel and large touch-screen. But the quality of the material has been improved. The wheel is now wrapped in full-grain leather (depending on the trim) and soft touch material dominate the cabin.
The new 208 also comes with a range of updated PureTech and BlueHDi engines. You can go as high as 94.1mpg and as low as 75 g/km CO2 with these engines, or enjoy great performance by choosing the high-performance GTi variant.
