Even though the main attraction of the Ford Focus RS is the fact that it’s a hot ‘hatchback’, independent designer X-Tomi Design could not help but think the new 2016 Focus RS would make more sense if it also came as a sedan and a wagon.
Of course, nobody can deny the practicality advantage of a sedan or a wagon compared to a hatchback. But you can argue that neither bodystyles are quite as charming as the hatch, especially if it’s a two-door. What’s more, Ford Focus RS hatchback has always been one of the roomiest of all hot hatches on the market, and the latest generation is no exception.
Still, it is nice to see that should Ford decides to go ahead and make a Ford Focus RS Sedan or a Wagon, the end result would still look quite decent. We are especially drawn to that wagon version which just looks so nice and chiseled!
The 2016 Ford Focus RS, just to recap, comes with a 320 horsepower 2.3 liter EcoBoost four-pot turbo, mated a manual transmission and a performance-oriented all-wheel-drive system that sends 70 percent of the power to the rear wheels, thus enabling the RS to pull off spectacular drifts.
