Bentley made a fair bit of stir at this year’s Geneva Motor Show when they unveiled the EXP 10 Speed 6 concept. This car is not destined for production, but it may well affect the looks of the next Continental GT, which is why it matters. That is also why we are keen to see it in as many different body styles as our rendering artists can dream of.
A while ago we showed you the Bentley EXP 10 as a Convertible. Now let’s check out another rendering, this time of an imaginary Bentley EXP 10 Shooting Brake. As much as we loved the convertible EXP, we have admit we are now totally smitten by this Shooting Brake version. This thing must be built. And soon.
Bentley has never done a Shooting Brake, at least not officially. Touring Superleggera, which is an Italian coachbuilder, once did a Continental SB, but that didn’t turn out very nice. In fact, it looked a bit like a hearse. The Bentley EXP 10 Shooting Brake, though, is the sexiness itself.
The best thing about this concept is that, if made, it’ll be an all-in-one car. You get the prestige of the Bentley brand and all the weight it carries; the beautiful looks; and luxurious cabin; and the practicality of that rear hatch. This thing is like a supermodel who is kind and delightful, and knows how to cook!
