Ram Trucks do not have a model as fancy as the Ford F-150 Raptor or as classy as the Chevy Silveradro. But that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t at least try and make the existing model look better. The new Ram 1500 Buzz models based on the Sport trim are efforts in this direction.
The limited edition Ram 1500 Buzz models come in Crew Cab 4×2 and 4×4 formats, and since they are based on the Sport grade, they boast a 395 horsepower HEMI V-8, 8-speed TorqueFlite transmission, 3.92 gear set, dual exhaust, vented sport hood and 20-inch wheels.
What sets these models apart is the exclusive visual features. The first one, the Ram 1500 Ignition Orange Sport, features unique interior colors, body-colored accents and limited edition bright orange paint. The second offering, Ram 1500 Black Sport, offers a customized appearance including black 20” wheels and a sport hood.
The Buzz Rams also get a number of interior mods, including body color accent stitching through the cabin, Sport embroidery on the seat backs, accent color Ram’s head on the headrests for the orange model, and all black with leather and Light Black chrome accents for the Black one.
Pricing for the Ram 1500 Ignition Orange package and the Ram 1500 Black Sport package is $1,595. An 8.4AN Uconnect system with navigation and rear view camera system are standard on both packages.
