Chevrolet has come up with a mildly refreshed version of the Corvette for the new year. They are not making a very big fuss about the 2016 Corvette Stingray because changes are not that great and can be mentioned in just one paragraph.
And here’s that paragraph: the 2016 Corvette Stingray comes with two new colors including Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat and Long Beach Red Metallic Tintcoat; it features a redesigned flat-bottom steering wheel, new wheel design, and a new carbon fiber hood which is an optional extra.
But that is not all. 2016 Corvette Stingray also gets a number of new styling packages designed to make the coupe and the convertible look more interesting. The first is the Twilight Blue Design Package which boasts a rear spoiler, motorsport wheels, blue interior trim, and a choice of Shark Gray, Blade Silver, Arctic White or Night Race Blue paint jobs with grey vents and brake calipers.
If you don’t like that you can go for the Spice Red package which is the opposite of the previous kit, featuring red interior, rear spoiler and wheels. Choice of exterior colors include Long Beach Red Metallic Tintcoat, Shark Gray, Blade Silver or Arctic White. The last package offered for the 2016 Corvette Stingray is the Jet Black Suede, the biggest highlight of which is black wheels, spoiler, and hood, plus a black interior with carbon fiber trim pieces. Pricing for this lot is yet to be revealed.
