So after confirming that the new Subaru Levorg Sport Tourer will go on sale in the British market, the Japanese car maker has now released the details of the UK-Spec version along with its official pricing. Going on sale in September, the Levrog is a bit pricier than we were expecting at £27,495.
The UK version of Subaru Levorg Sport Tourer comes in a single trim level, GT 1.6 DIT Lineartronic, with generous standard equipment. So although they are asking for good money and don’t give let you spec it up, what you receive is a fine and well-rounded product.
Powered by a 1.6-litre DIT (Direct Injection Turbo) Boxer petrol engine, Subaru Levorg Sport Tourer comes with Lineartronic (CVT) transmission and all-wheel-drive. So not much of the 170 PS and 250 Nm the engine produces actually reach the wheels. Zero to 60 mph takes 8.9 seconds in this car, but you get 40 mpg on the combined cycle which is brilliant.
The new Levrog is one of the safest cars in this segment, boasting ‘Subaru Rear Vehicle Detection’ system (SRVD) plus Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. As for the equipment and features, the standard kit includes: auto on-off LED headlamps; rain-sensing wipers; front and rear fog lamps;metallic paint; 18-inch dark grey alloy wheels; privacy glass and a subtle roof spoiler; keyless access and push-button start; bespoke leather heated sports seats in the front; 60/40 split-folding and reclining rear seats; boot lamp; two 12-volt power outlets, four USB ports (two in the front, two in the rear); 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment and navigation system with Subaru STARLINK connectivity; dual-zone air-conditioning; and rear parking camera.
