You thought Jaguar is done making more variants of the F-Type sports car after Project 7, didn’t you? That is, of course, wrong. They have yet another model in the pipeline, this one so hard-core, it makes AMG Merc sound like little scooters. We are talking the upcoming Jaguar F-type SVR.

Spotted testing at the Nurburgring, and looking hugely quick doing it, Jaguar F-type SVR will pack a 600 horsepower version of the same 5.5 liter Supercharged V8 engine you find in the F-Type R. It also comes with an aggressive body kit, uprated suspension and better brakes, among other changes.

The question is, does the world needs another F-Type harder, louder and faster than the one that went before? Shouldn’t they go in the other direction, making a luxury version that is nice and fluffy? Well, something that looks this aggressive cannot possibly be a soft and comfy car. The huge rear spoiler, the large air intakes, and the massive wheels, they are all characteristics of a formidable track weapon.
