Renault Megane RS render 600x369 at Rendering: 2017 Renault Megane RS

Thanks to our favorite rendering artist X-Tomi Design we don’t have to wait a long time for car makers to get around making different variants of a new model they’ve just launched. Tomi boy usually gives us a look at those models within hours of said model’s debut. So here’s what the next Renault Megane RS will almost certainly look like, rendered based on the official pictures released yesterday.

The speed at which Tomi puts out these renderings does not mean he doesn’t put any thought into them. He’s a real pro and known the specifics of every make of car by heart. So his depiction of the 2017 Renault Megane RS seems pretty much spot on, what with the custom Renaultsport bumpers, larger wheels, dropped ride height (because Cup chassis), even the color.

What Tomi cannot comment on at his moment is what sort of punch the new Megane RS will be packing. Renault is yet to announce the specs and details of the normal model, so it’s too soon to start speculating about the RS engine. We would like to see a beefy 2.0 liter turbo in there, but the way things are these days, they could also go for a 1.6 and make up for lack of oomph by lightening the car.
