Even though Dubai is the natural habitat of the Middle East’s one true hyper car, W Motors Fenyr SuperSport, it is still quite exciting to see one of these cars out in the wild. The Fenyr was only revealed last month at the Dubai Motor Show.
The Fenyr SuperSport in these photos is in the back of a delivery truck, being unloaded into Alain Class Motors showroom. These guys are the first to get each of W Motors new products, and the only car showroom in the region high-profile enough to be able to sell a multi-million dollar hyper car.
Fenyr SuperSport is supposed to be a performance-focused version of the $3.4 million Lykan HyperSport which had diamond in its headlights. The car uses basically the same sort of architecture with a RUF-engineered flat-6 4.0 liter twin-turbo engine nestled in the middle of an aluminum chassis beneath a 1,200 kg carbon body.
With an output rated at 900 horsepower and 1,200 Newton-Metre torque, and with the help of a 7 speed double clutch gearbox, the Fenyr (named after the most aggressive and vicious wolf in ancient mythology) can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and reach a top speed of more than 400 km/h (249 mph).
