Rolls-Royce Abu Dhabi has received a very special “Nautical” version of the Phantom Drophead, and decided the best way to introduce it to the city was to send it on a tour of Yas Marina. The car looks very much at home in AD, except for that cocktail hamper in the boot.

As some of you may know, alcohol is banned in the United Arab Emirates. They serve it to foreigners in hotels and bars, but if they catch you with booze on the street they will probably flog you or something. So we’re not sure what are the consequences of having a cocktail hamper in the boot of your car, even one so exquisite, it is one of only fifteen units worldwide.

The Hamper itself is a lovely thing, hand-crafted over a period of eight weeks from American Walnut Wood and the finest Natural Grain Leather that adorn the interior of some Rolls-Royce motor cars. It comes with every necessary accoutrement required to create and enjoy the perfect cocktail.

Boasting the same sort of features as the Ocean-inspired Phantom Nautical, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Nautical comes in white with blue coachline and most importantly, a teak wood decking with the exclusive the Nautical logo. It is quite possibly the most desirable special edition Roller, but mostly because of what’s in the boot!
