If the SS version of the new Chevy Camaro with its 455 horsepower engine is still not hot enough for you, the company has just dropped the new 2017 Camaro 1LE performance package with exclusive visual features and enhanced performance. The 1LE kit is available for both V6 and V8 models.
For the V6-powered 1LT or 2LT coupe model, Camaro 1LE package includes aggressive suspension tuning, standard Brembo brakes and Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, available Recaro seats and Performance Data Recorder, standard dual mode exhaust system and track-cooling package, as well as a Mechanical Limited-slip differential. This model packs a 3.6L V-6 rated at 335 horsepower and matched with the six-speed manual transmission.
The 2017 Camaro 1LE V8 model (1SS) comes with magnetic ride control, new FE4 suspension tuning, electronic limited slip differential (eLSD), Brembo six-piston monobloc brakes with red calipers and Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, track-cooling package, Suede steering wheel with shorter-throw shifter, and standard Recaro seats. The SS has a 6.2L LT1 V-8 rated at 455 horsepower, and only a six-speed manual transmission.
Both Camaro 1LE models share styling elements such as Satin black hood, front mirrors and unique three-piece rear spoiler, high flow upper and lower grille with satin black accents, and specific wheels.
