Even though McLaren 675LT is produced in very limited numbers, the variety of custom paint jobs and styling treatments we’re seeing for it is staggering. Of course, not all of them are elaborate designs. Some like this one consists only of some nice pinstriping, which is enough to give the car an exclusive, almost bespoke look.
Delivered to McLaren San Francisco, the pinstriped McLaren 675LT is finished in Chicane Grey which is one of the coolest paint jobs the LongTail comes in. When it came to speccing the car up with MSO (McLaren Special Operations) options though, whoever ordered the cat evidently didn’t want anything too fancy and so steered clear of silly liveries and two-tone paint works and contented himself with McLaren Orange pinstripes on the aero parts.
The bright colored accents adorns the lip of the front splitter, side aero blades, and the prominent rear diffuser. Even though the treatment is subtle and fairly discreet, the contrast in colors with the dark finish of the body on this pinstriped McLaren 675LT gives it a substantially different look than regular LongTails. It’s just the right amount of showiness you’d want on a car like “Le Big Mac.” So forget body kits and wraps and liveries. What you want is some cool stripes!
