Though one would have expected more changes after being in the works for twelve years or so, the new 2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom is improved over the previous model substantially enough so as not leave much room for complaints. The ultimate luxury saloon gets a new chassis, a better engine, and a mind-boggling array of luxury features, most of which have become a lot more sophisticated than before.

You see, with the 2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom luxury is not just about the wood and leather and glass in the cabin, although you do get a healthy supply of those in a wide range of colors and themes. Their approach to luxury motoring has always been that of an artist trying to create something that feels great to look at, to touch, to behold. It’s an all-encompassing experience, luxury with Rolls-Royce, arrived at through a combination of sensations and feelings.

The new Phantom boasts an all-new aluminium ‘Architecture of Luxury’ with  ‘Magic Carpet Ride’ and no, these are not just lofty words. The interior design and its luxury features are designed around the passenger with ‘The Embrace’ concept, where he or she can enjoy a whole new level of luxury motoring with ‘The Suite’ and ‘The Gallery’ bespoke treatments tailored exclusively for them.

We were adamant that that was what they should have.”
