If you like the idea of bespoke cars, but the programs offered by Rolls-Royce and the like are way too common for you, do not despair because there is a British engineering firm called Envisage that can design you your very own automobile. They let you have your very own concept car.

Envisage Group designs and builds prototypes for many of the world’s top auto makers such as Aston Martin, Bentley, Jaguar Land Rover and Rolls-Royce. Their new Bespoke Car Service is now offering this opportunity to private clients as well. This is British coachbuilding at its finest.

Envisage is currently displaying a number of their works at the Top Marques Monaco show, including the new Speedback GT, which they have built for David Brown Automotive, a scale model of the all-new Khan Grand Tourer concept as well as a recreation of a Le Mans winning Jaguar, the Proteus C-Type.

You can turn up with any car you like and tell them to dress it in a bespoke body and fit it with the features you like. It won’t be cheap, but you can’t get more “bespoke” than that.

“Using virtual reality, we can build and test any number of ideas, gradually refining the look of the vehicle, viewing it in favourite locations, exploring shapes and textures until perfection is realised,” explains Envisage Group’s design director Ian Nisbett. “Customers can view their digital car from any angle, sit in it and close the door, even see it in their garage or next to their boat,” he says. “When they are completely happy, we make a full size model for sign-off.”
