So the residents of Newport Beach were not the only ones who had a magnificent super car show to enjoy. Down in Orlando they had organized a lavish event called Festivals of Speed Orlando in which many hyper cars and many more super cars turned up for the amusement of a giddy crowd.
The biggest highlight of Festivals of Speed Orlando 2015, sponsored by Dimmitt Automotive Group, was the number of McLarens present at the event – from the P1 hyper car, to a fair few 650S models, to the new boy 570S, and of course the old chap 12C. But the Macs were kind of outclassed by a couple of super special cars that stole the show upon arrival.
First there was the Pagani Huayra King Edition, a one-off custom version of the Italian hyper car built, evidently, so one man – who badly wants to be a king – could indulge his vanity. He has even got a THEKING license plate. But even more impressive than this bad boy was the red Aston Martin Vulcan track car, arrived in the U.S. but a week ago. This multi-million dollar limited edition race car is the true definition of a big boys toy. That gorgeous yellow Ferrari Enzo almost looked like a hatchback in this company!
