Opel/Vauxhall unveiled a production version of the high-performance Adam S concept. Set for official debut at the upcoming Paris Motor Show, Opel Adam S, features more power than the standard models as well as special exterior and interior features.

Just like the ordinary models, Opel Adam S comes with tons of personalization options, what they refer to as ‘Red ?n‘ Roll design’, including two-tone paint jobs, wheel designs, and aero parts like rear spoiler. Interior highlights include Recaro sport seats, optional leather package including black and red steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake in leather and red and white lighting for the instrument panels and doors.

What sets Opel Adam S apart and probably the only reason one would consider buying it is a beefed-up 1.4 liter EcoTec turbo engine with 150PS and 220Nm of torque. That is a good amount of power in a car the size of a shoe, and takes the Adam S from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 220 km/h (124mph). Fuel economy stands at 44 mpg average.

Other highlights of the Adam S includes OPC(VXR)-tuned suspension and brakes, and 17-inch or optional 18-inch alloys. You also get a standard infotainment system fully compatible with latest smartphones using both ANDROID and Apple iOS.
