Infiniti announced its lineup for the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, and it is highlighted by, as you would expect, the Infiniti Q80 Inspiration concept. But there is more to their plans than just showing us some cars.

There will be a coffee and espresso bar, and joy of joys, bourbon tasting with a comprehensive explanation of the difference between scotch and bourbon and Light Hors d’Oeuvres by Chef Scott Conant’s Scarpetta, whatever that is. But before you get too excited, we should point out these hospitalities are only for the members of the press. Sorry guys!

The rest of you should be able to enjoy the fancy lines of Infiniti Q80 Inspiration, and the new QX80 Limited, lnfiniti’s limited-production, full-size luxury SUV. First revealed at the Paris Motor Show a few months ago, the new concept car is of utmost importance to the future of Infiniti brand, because not only it might be produced itself, its design will invariably affect those of the other future production models. What’s more, the Q80 Inspiration boasts the latest hybrid technology and connectivity systems developed by the Japanese auto maker.

Infiniti will also take car in the L.A. Auto Show Design Challenge with an overwhelmingly complicated project.
