Jaguar F Type SVR Render 1 600x366 at Rendering: Jaguar F Type SVR

First there was the V6, then the V6 S, then the V8, after that the V8 S, and after that the R Coupe, not to mention Project 7. But the world has not enough Jaguar F-Type variants yet. Soon there will be another, more hard-core version from the firm’s special operations unit and it will be called Jaguar F-Type SVR.

As you would expect from a new F-Type variant that slots above the R Coupe, the SVR is going to be look a lot cooler and also pack more power. These amazing speculative renderings here try to imagine what the upcoming Jaguar F-Type SVR might look like, and they appear to have nailed it on the head. The larger air intakes at the front and the tall rear spoiler are features you can expect to see on the real thing.

There is no definite date as to when Jaguar F-Type SVR will launch into the market, but early reports suggest the high-performance Jag will get a 600 PS version of the R’s supercharged V8 engine, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel-drive. Sounds like quite a setup, but in our opinion what the F-Type needs is a softer, cuddlier version; one that doesn’t sound like it has stomach problems all the time and rides more comfortably.
