Following the launch of the E10 sports car, the independent British car maker Zenos is now gearing up to launch a track-only version at this year’s Autosport International show in Birmingham. Zenos E10 R will make its public debut at the Performance Car Show which will be held alongside the main event.

Designed exclusively for track days, Zenos E10 R belongs to the same league as the Radical RXC, putting a lot of emphasis on power-to-weight ratio. The number for this car is  500bhp/tonne, thanks to a lightweight body and a 350bhp and 475Nm of torque 2.3 liter EcoBoost engine.

Pitched as the “Zenos’ fastest and most-focused model,” the E10 R is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds. As for the cornering, well, it depends on what you do with the adjustable suspension. But chances are it’s not going to disappoint. The car also comes with uprated brakes compared to E10 and E10 S.

Zenos E10 R has a very reasonable price tag given its looks and specs, starting from just £39,995.

Mark Edwards, Founder and Managing Director of Zenos Cars, said: “The E10 R is a car that delivers maximum performance both on track and road, so Autosport International is the perfect place for its debut. Thanks to its advanced lightweight architecture and natural balance, the E10 R handles its extra power comfortably – and it’s also one of the most affordable ways to join the exclusive 500bhp/tonne club.”
