Some may know him from the movies he appeared in, such as the Longest Yard, and some other may remember him from his NFL days. But petrolheads know Goldberg best for his programs Garage Mahal and Bullrun.
Earlier this week Ford announced the SEMA Mustang Build Powered by Women, a joint project between Ford, SEMA and SEMA Businesswomen’s Network, whose goal is to create a Ford Mustang completely designed by women, for women. The Mustang is not exactly a girly car, but it’s intersting to see what females think makes a perfect muscle car. And no, they’re not going to draw flowers on it!
First time we heard about Gemballa’s new diamond coating was at Top Marques Monaco 2012, where they brought along Pamela Anderson for publicity. Back then we thought the diamond thing was just a plot to fool the former Baywatch babe, but no. It is for real, as Gemballa has now released an official statement saying it is available for exterior and interior. It is real diamonds in your paint job!
Wheelsandmore’s new tuning package for the Lamborghini Gallardo must be something very special, since they’ve named it after U.S. Army’s elite special forces unit “Green Beret”. It is based on a Superleggera Gallardo, and while the green color on it is not exactly an army sort of green, the car looks pretty cool thanks to the blacked-out roof, black aero parts, and of course the new black wheels.
The new Renault Alpine concept is supposed to be unveiled today in Monte Carlo sometime in between the Monaco GP free practice session. But before that let’s take a look at a couple of new pictures that made their way to the internet a bit early. The modern-day Alpine shares very little with the original car, which is a shame. It is based on the Renault DeZir concept and built upon Megane Trophy’s chassis.
The new Audi R18 LMP sports prototype is a closed-cabin race car with no rear window, and with the engine in the middle and all those big fins and spoilers, a rear-view mirror would have been useless anyway. Having one, however, could help the driver enormously and improve safety as well. So Audi came up with a simple and genius solution: a high-res camera and a super AMOLED screen.
BMW revealed the upgraded new 7-Seires with a mild facelift, new engines, and a whole lot of new features. The 2013 7er looks pretty much like the current version, apart from the new LED headlights which look kinda like the ones on the Gran Coupe, more prominent BMW kidney grille, and a revised front apron. Changes are refreshing, but they have not made the car any prettier.
