Car makers with a Formula One team are always trying to come up with new ideas for the sport and become a pioneer in it. So here’s Renault’s idea of a future Formula One car, presented in from Renault RS 2027 Vision Concept which, as the name suggests, is what they think F1 cars should look like in 2027.
So BMW turned up at the Shanghai Auto Show, a pretty significant event given the size of the Chinese market, with only a new limited edition M4. It’s not even a good one. The 2018 BMW M4 CS is a gap filler trying to win over those customers for whom the M4 GTS is too hot but the M4 Competition Package doesn’t quite cut it.
As promised in New York, Mercedes-Benz went to Shanghai to unveil the refreshed 2018 Mercedes S-Class to the world. The new version is not all-new, but it comes with enough changes and improvements for us not to nag. As you would expect, the big S is still class and industry-leader in terms of technology.
It is a bit surprising how much interest there was in the auto world about the Skoda Vision E. At any rate, that interest is now satisfied as the concept goes on display at the Shanghai auto show and we get to see it in full glory. We also get the first official technical details on the futuristic Skoda SUV.
Mercedes-Benz is stepping up its concept sedan game these days. Following the release of the AMG GT four-door concept Geneva and New York, they took to 2017 Shanghai Motor Show to reveal the Mercedes-Benz Concept A Sedan, a compact four-door sedan inspired by the “Aesthetics A” sculpture.
